So how much will my project cost?

We understand the importance of your remodeling project. Not only will you be misplaced from a part of your home, but you are also investing your money into a dream project. That's why we take the time to talk with you in depth about your needs and wants and take our time to do the project right.

The figures shown below reflect some of our lower and higher-end projects cost. Remember, these are merely estimates based on past work we’ve completed. Every project is unique, and so are their relative costs.

What to expect: Our 7 step process of your home remodeling project.

The Seven Steps of Home Remodeling

1. Design

We’ll help design and put your ideas on paper. You may already have a plan, if so, we can move forward to your specification sheet.

2. Specification Sheet

This is a description of your remodel in every detail. We meet with you to get all of your selections, helping you to pick out everything from flooring and baseboards to cabinets and countertops.

3. Proposal/Sign Contracts

When you accept the specification sheet and estimated cost, we’ll sign a construction agreement.

4. Permits

This ensures your kitchen or bath is compliant with all building & energy codes. A permit is issued once all plan requirements are met.

5. Start Project

Once steps 1-4 are complete, we will schedule to begin work!

6. Inspections

Inspections are held at various stages of the remodeling process to ensure the project complies with all building codes

7. Project Completion

When final inspection is complete and signed off by the inspector, your final walk-through will be scheduled.

Remodeling Cost vs. Value

There are many things to consider when doing a home remodeling project such as how to plan a budget, resale value, etc. Remodeling Magazine puts together a Cost vs Value Report each year. The following report (in pdf) is their 2017 report for the Sacramento Region.

Download the Remodeling Cost vs. Value Report

Although the costs used in the report are based on itemized estimates), the designs and material specifications are “typical” and not based on actual projects. When comparing the data in this report to actual remodeling costs in a particular geographic area, small differences in the size or scope of a project, or in the quality of finishes and accessories the homeowner chooses, can dramatically affect the price. The distinction that the report makes between “midrange” and “upscale” projects provides a range of pricing, but it doesn't take into account extreme variations in pricing that many markets—or neighborhoods within markets—may experience from time to time.
